Contact Adhesive

Description

USES:

• For bonding a large variety of materials, including:
  Rubber, Hardboard, Veneers, Cork, Wood, Formica, Melamine, Glass, Carpet, Cloth & Leather

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Materials to be bonded must be sound, clean, dry, smooth and free from oil & grease
• Stir well before use, or shake the container vigorously
• Apply a thin coat of adhesive to both surfaces using a brush
• Allow 10 – 20 minutes until the adhesive is dry to the touch
• Position the coated surfaces accurately
• Press firmly together for a few minutes to ensure overall contact
• Final bond is resistant to water and oil, mild acids and alkalis after 24 hours

AFTER USE

• Tools can be cleaned with acetone

LIMITATIONS

• Do NOT use with the following materials:
  Expanded Polystyrene, polypropylene and polyethylene
• A small sample test is recommended if unsure

WARNINGS

• Highly Flammable
• Irritating to eyes and skin
• Toxic to aquatic organisms
• Vapours may cause drowsiness & Dizziness
• Keep away from sources of ignition
• No Smoking
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately and seek medical advice
• Wear gloves
• If swallowed, seek medical advice and show this label- rinse mouth with water (only if person is conscious)
• Use in well ventilated area
